HP has officially released their new AMD Neo-powered Pavilion dv2 Notebook. The new 12-inch dv2 measures just under 1-inch thick and less than 4 pounds. It features magnesium casing and Espresso black finish with matching HP Imprint design on the palm rest. Only the quick-ship dv2-1030us model (pre-configured unit) is now available. It's powered by AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 Processor, 4GB DDR2 RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3410 graphics and a 6-cell battery pack. The Pavilion dv2-1030us comes bundled with an external 8X DVD+/-RW optical drive and also packs in a 320GB Hard Drive, Webcam + Mic, 802.11n WiFi, 12.1-inch LED BrightView LCD and internal Altec Lansing speakers. Port-wise the dv2 is well equipped, offering 3 USB 2.0, headphone in & out, HDMI, VGA and Ethernet connectivity.
